Features
  • Anti- tilt mechanism during rotation
  • Manual override of drive system in the event of power failure allows easy manual maneuver of ULDs
  • Steel chequer plate infills between rollers and in crescent sections for operator safety
  • Can be fitted with weigh scales

Truck Dock

Truck Dock
Description

A pit mounted scissor lift for unloading and loading Aircraft pallets to and from interfacing road vehicles and ground support equipment.

Features
  • The truck dock top comprises of powered rollers to facilitate longitudinal transfer.
  • Will be powered by electric motor/gearbox unit with brake motor.
  • Chains and sprockets are engaged 180 degrees with safety cover plates fitted.
  • A winch with hydraulic drive is fitted to the center of the powered top to assist in the unloading trucks.
  • Deck drive is interlocked with internal system to ensure equipment systems are correctly aligned before load units can be transferred.

Split Lowering Work Station, 20 ft.

Split Lowering Work Station, 20 ft.
Description

The Lowering Work Station is installed in a pit, complete with a powered narrow edge or wide edge presentation powered roller bed top, as appropriate, mounted on a scissor lift. It is provided with a range of working height above and below floor level, to ease the tasks of building and breaking ULD/Pallet loads.

Features
  • Comprises 2 x 10ft roller decks mounted on twin 10ft scissor lifts.
  • Can be operated as 1 x 20ft or 2 x independent
  • The gap between rollers on conveyor deck is infilled to provide operator safety.
  • Manual operation stops are included to retain ULD units during build up or breakdown operations.

Shuttle, 20 ft.

Shuttle, 20 ft.
Description

The Shuttles provide a means of transferring freight to and from the storage beds to the powered queuing conveyors via the Elevating Transfer Vehicle (ETV) or Transfer Vehicle (TV). The shuttles can also transfer between the conveyors lanes as well as transfer to and from the airside interface.

Features
  • Positioning of the shuttle is achieved through the use of an incremental encoder, based on a known starting position. Through this method the shuttle can be positioned exactly in line with either a Truck dock or a conveyor bed.
  • The rail is constructed of bright bar rectangular section steel mounted on a steel base plate.
  • The shuttle can be enclosed by a mesh fence.

Right Angle 4-way Transfer Deck

Right Angle 4-way Transfer Deck
Description

The powered Right Angle Transfer deck enables the transfer of a pallet or container in any of four directions. It is used to transfer units to and from the NEP and WEP lowering workstations to Elevating Transfer Vehicle (ETV), Transfer Vehicle (TV) or powered conveyor lanes.

Features
  • Comprises of two interleaved fabricated chassis frames forming a narrow edge type powered roller conveyor in one direction and a wide edge type powered wheel deck in the opposite direction.
  • Roller and wheel shafts run in heavy duty bearings sealed and permanently greased for life and are linked by chains and dual sprockets.
  • Chains and sprockets are engaged 180 degrees.
  • Cover plates are easily removable for maintenance purposes.

Powered Storage Decks, 10 ft. / 20 ft.

Powered Storage Decks, 10 ft. / 20 ft.
Description

The powered storage beds are used to transfer freight to and from the system to airside dolly docks via the Elevating Transfer Vehicle (ETV) or Transfer Vehicle (TV) or can be used as a queuing conveyor lane for temporary storage.

Features
  • Comprise of powered roller beds with full width 133mm diameter steel rollers mounted to fabricated frames.
  • Rollers are supported in self aligning bearings bolted between two rolled steel channels which project 50mm above the top of the rollers to form guides.
  • The gap between rollers on conveyor deck is fitted with infills to provide for operator safety.
  • Bi-directional for flexibility and redundancy

Friction Storage Decks, 10 ft. / 20 ft.

Friction Storage Decks, 10 ft. / 20 ft.
Description

The friction driven storage beds are manufactured to provide Friction Driven bi-directional roller storage beds, sited at either side of the Transfer Vehicle to provide storage locations for ULDs and Pallets. The storage beds take any combination of 10Ft pallets and 5Ft pallet as long as the total length of the combined freight is no greater the length of the storage bed.

Features
  • Rotation of the rollers is achieved through a friction drive mechanism on the transfer vehicle which turns the lead roller on storage deck through contact with powered rubber tire wheels.
  • Locking mechanism to prevent ULDs falling from deck

Elevating Transfer Vehicle (ETV)

Elevating Transfer Vehicle (ETV)
Description

This is an all electrical operation, narrow edge presentation roller deck vehicle designed and constructed to receive, hold and transfer pallets and containers up to 14,000 kgs along the length of track. The ETV interfaces with work station interface lanes, friction driven storage decks and transport loader conveyors within the system.

Features
  • An independent free standing unit with elevating roller deck platform to raise and lower ULD containers between interfacing equipment items at all system level.
  • Wire ropes are attached to the drums and used for hoisting the platform.
  • Hoist motor/gearbox arrangement has an electromechanical brake system to support the load when not at base level.
  • A control station at either side of the cab.
  • The vehicle automatically parks at the closest rack.
  • Absolute horizontal and vertical positioning to +/- 1mm
  • Fully automatic or semi-automatic operation
